| SeaNet is a collaborative project to extend the Internet to ships at sea using a robust, flexible, cost-effective technology.

If you are scheduled for one of these ships (or are proposing to use ship time) and would like to consider using SeaNet, please discuss it with your point of contact at the operating institution or contact us through seanet-ops@seanet.int. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI)is responsible for the SeaNet network architecture and the design, development, and maintenance of the SeaNet communications system software.Funding for SeaNet is currently being provided by the National Science Foundation. |
